Seena Nassiri is a graduate of UC Davis with a B.A. in 2006, where he majored in 20th-century history. After graduation, Seena was hired as an intern with Retail West, a Bay Area Commercial Real Estate company.
He decided to go back to school and graduated with a Master of Arts from Aarhus University, where he majored in political science. He was hired as a project developer at Global Citizen, a worldwide organization focused on philanthropy. He worked with an international team to assist the company to achieve global reach.
Seena joined the City and County of San Francisco Human Services Agency in 2018 as a Public Assistance Specialist.
Prior to San Francisco, he was a Public Assistance Specialist for the County of Marin, in San Rafael, CA. He also interned at Californians for Pesticide Reform. During his tenure at the County of Marin, Seena gained extensive knowledge of Medi-Cal (Medicaid, ABD, MAGI), CalFresh (SNAP), CalWORKS (TANF), CMSP, Temporary/Permanent Homeless Assistance, and Affordable Care Act program.
Seena currently lives in San Francisco, California, where he continues his humanitarianism. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family.
